Q: Where does Mented ship?

Currently, we ship to the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Q: What shipping services does Mented offer?

Q: Do I qualify for free shipping?

We offer free standard shipping on orders of $45 or more shipping within the US.  We currently do not offer free international shipping.  

Q: How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email, which will include tracking information.  Orders shipping within the United States will be delivered within 5-12 business days.  Orders shipping to Canada or the United Kingdom will take between 5-12 days depending on the delivery address.

Q: If I choose expedited shipping how long will it take for my order to arrive?
For expedited shipping we use Fed-Ex 2-Day, which guarantees delivery within two business days from the time an order leaves our warehouse. All orders placed before 11am will ship out same day; orders placed after 11am will ship the following business day. Fed-Ex does not deliver to PO boxes.


Q: Do you ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

Yes, but we can only ship to these addresses using Standard Shipping Services.  

Q: Will I be charged duties on orders shipping to Canada or the UK?

Duties are paid at checkout so no additional fees are due upon delivery. 

Q: What if I have issues with tracking, need to edit my shipping address, or anything else?

When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail. The majority of our orders are shipped within 1-3 business days after the order has been placed. The e-mail will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to the selected carrier site. For anything else, please contact Mented Cosmetics at hello@mentedcosmetics.com and we’d be happy to help.

Q: Does Mented work on sensitive or oily skin?

Yes! We thought about you too. Our lipsticks are vegan, non-toxic, and paraben free. You can find a full list of ingredients on every product page.

Q: How long will it take the product to expire?

Our products hold a shelf life of at least 2 years! So go ahead make them a part of your everyday routine.

Q: Do you test on animals?

Nope, not our thing.

Q: I’m not sure which lip shade will look best on me, can you make a recommendation?

 Q: How do I redeem my foundation credit for purchasing a Sample Pack?

Login into the Mented Cosmetics account that you used to purchase the sample pack and add one unit of foundation in your desired shade to the cart. At checkout, the Sample Pack cost amount will automatically deduct from the foundation cost. If you experience issues completing this, please reach out to hello@mentedcosmetics.com for assistance

Returns & Exchanges

Q: Can I return or exchange my purchase?

Email us at hello@mentedcosmetics.com and we’d be happy to help you through a return or exchange. Your return must be processed 30 days after your order was received for a full refund. Refunds sent in without prior contact will be denied. All exchanges must be for equal or lesser value.

Q: Can I return some of the items in a collection?

Items purchased in a collection may be returned for partial credit. Customers who wish to return part of a collection will be charged the full price for the products they keep.

Q: How do I qualify for the Rapid Exchange Program?

When a customer’s order is $75 or less they qualify for the rapid exchange program. This program allows customers to receive the exchange product of their choice (of equal or lesser value) without having to return the original items. Note, the Rapid Exchange Program can only be used once per order.

Q: What are the benefits of using the Rapid Exchange Program?

We designed the Rapid Exchange Program to take the hassle out of the exchange process. The product must be of equal or lesser value to original purchase.

Q: How long does it take to process a return?

Credit card refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

Returns & Exchanges for International Orders

Unfortunately, we can’t offer merchandise exchanges on orders shipped internationally.  Only crediting back the original form of payment is available.



Q: How can I check the status of my order?

You can view the status of your order on your Accounts page. Separately, we send a confirmation email when the order is placed and another email when the order ships.

Q: Can I update my order once it’s placed?

We process orders pretty quickly, but sometimes we can make quick changes. If you need to cancel or change your order please email us right away at hello@mentedcosmetics.com

Q: Can I use more than one promo code per order?

Only one promo code at a time please.

Friend Referral Program

Q: Does Mented have a friend referral discount?

Yes! We hope you love Mented and encourage your friends to love it too. Give a friend $10 off their first order and earn 1000 points if they spend over $30! Login to your account to refer a friend.

Q: How does the referral program work?

Send your friends your personalized referral link. Your friends must purchase on mentedcosmetics.com using the code that your referral link reveals. Once their purchase is complete you will be notified via email of your reward.

Pro MUA Program

Q: Does Mented offer discounts to makeup artists?

Yes! We’re so excited you want to stock up on our product and use it on your clients. We offer a discount of 25% on all mentedcosmetics.com orders.

Q: So how do I get the discount?

Once accepted into our Pro MUA Program we will apply the discounts to your account. Please email us at info@mentedcosmetics.com and include the following:

  • Copy of your photo ID
  • At least 1 credential ( i.e. your name listed in the credits in an editorial)
  • Link to website/social channels

We currently offer Afterpay to US customers.

What is Afterpay?

Afterpay is a buy now, pay later payment solution that allows you to order online with us at any time and pay for it at a later date in 4 easy interest-free installments.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible to use Afterpay, you must be over 18 years of age, place your order within US, live in the US and have a debit/credit card. Afterpay will also make an assessment of your eligibility at the point of checkout.

For US Customers, a minimum spend of $35 USD applies to be eligible for AfterPay.

How does it work?

If you are a regular Afterpay customer, you will pay nothing upfront when you place your order. Your order total will then be debited by Afterpay every 2 weeks in four equal 25% installments. 

If you are new to Afterpay, the first instalment will be debited at time of checkout. 2 weeks later, your second installments will be debited. 

Prior to every debit, Afterpay will contact you via email and SMS to let you know of your upcoming debit. If funds are not available or you otherwise do not make your payment when it is due, late fees may apply. Click here for complete terms.

Can I get a refund?

If you checkout using Afterpay and decide you'd like to return your item, you are welcome to return your item within 14 days of receiving it. Once we receive your return, we will cancel your payment plan with Afterpay and you will be refunded any paid amounts to date.

Your first payment will either be due at checkout or 2 weeks after your purchase. The next 3 remaining installments will be automatically charged to your card saved on Shop Pay every 2 weeks. And don't worry, you'll get an email reminder before each payment to keep you in the know.

What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?

When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into 4 equal, biweekly installment payments—with 0% interest, no hidden or late fees, and no impact on your credit score.* In some instances, your first payment is due when you make your purchase; otherwise, your first payment is due 2 weeks after your purchase.

Will using the installments feature on Shop Pay impact my credit score?

No, if you choose to pay in installments through Shop Pay, there will be no impact to your credit score. For Shop Pay installments, Affirm will not report to credit bureaus.

Which payment methods are accepted if I use the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?

The installments option on Shop Pay is available on debit and credit cards.

Are there any late fees?

No, there are no late fees if you miss a scheduled payment.

What if I make a return on a purchase made through installments with Shop Pay?

If we process a refund, the refunded amount will be returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days, and your balance will be updated.

If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, it might not lower your next payment. Instead, you can expect fewer payments, a smaller final payment, or both.

If your refund is more than your purchase balance, the difference will be returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.
